THUG (The Hate U Give)
The world we live in is rather absurd
How can I make sure that my voice will be heard
Especially when the truth is always blurred
How can i make sure that I make an impact
And pour into the unaware hard cold facts
Take it day by day, and step by step
Each morning, I shall rise up and prep
Umbrellas were made to protect from rain, however
God did not create umbrellas to protect us from pain
It is time to break free from social chains, my
Vow has been taken, it has been said
Everyone has heard me, the word will be spread
