Thursday Nights.

Squalls and screams and childish dreams
are all forgotten and fall between the seams.

Soon drugs, and lust, and loud music is a must,
so we do this and think we do as we please.

All that we remember is the happiness that was once there,
little do we know it's as thick as the air.

Fantasizing about true love and fame,
but honestley our young lives are just games.

All we really need is to be smart and kind
With hard work, you can proudly say "That is mine."

But with all these rude and selfish acts
You never  know when someone could snap.

We don't deserve what we have in this world
And before you open your mouth, think about that little girl.

Think about the little boy, crying and cold.
His whole life struggling and he's never seen a home.

People dying in these streets because they've been forgotten and literally left out on the street.

Noone deserves to be alone.

We take for granted our gifts and this life,
While there are so many others just wishing to die.

We push away the ones we love,
Never knowing that tomorrow they'll end up above.

So when you stop and think and realize what I'm saying is true,
Just remember that I've warned you.
