Thy heart carries on

Thy heart carries on.

Why can’t you see me?

I call out for help to you yet you hear silence.

I cry for help through my laughter.

I cry for help through my conservative words.

I cry for help through my secret tears.

Yet you only hear my absence.

Tell me why is it when I’m around people are inconvenienced

Yet when I attempt to go away people seem to love me.

When I attempt to go away I am just in search of attention right?

Though I don’t think you were there hearing my cries through the laughter.

So, who is truly blind in this instance?

You who remains to only see what you choose

Or me whom only is able to see those who turn me away.

It is apparent to you that I seem to have the worst words of all.

Yet when I choose to be silent you question me.

I constantly scream for help yet you brush it off as if it were a whisper.

I honestly just want to give up,

Give away, and start over

But I can’t

For I have better people here

They rely on me and shall I vanish they might fall to sorrow.

I am the princess for their kingdom

I am the mother for their family

I am the beholder of all problem solvers in their disputes

I may not love that job fore I have no one to go to, but I love them all just the same.

They all know a different part of my being

Yet so much of my soul is contained within a stranger that stares back in the mirror.

You see, I am many different people therefore I switch my language, my writing, my opinions, and actions

Befriend me and you have many friends combined into one.

I have a resourceful piece, a childish piece, pain filled piece, anger filled piece, and a piece that is just all together broken inside and is so confused of everything they are.

Once these pieces combined they fill in the spots to make the soul of a being that is internally struggling to breathe.

The naïve side was destroyed by a certain being a long time ago and it was too far gone to continue to linger close to the soul.

If you find this unbearable you may answer to the heart.

The heart will explain to you “for it is broken and can barely mend before suffering another crack.”

Thy heart will speak to you of the betrayals in which it has endured.

Thy heart will speak to you of how much regret it has concealed

Thy heart will speak to you of the people who were loved and lost

Thy who couldn’t be trusted, thy who shouldn’t have been trusted

Thy who merely were let in to release the flood gates of all mighty hell and pain.

Now it is your turn to tell thy heart you must leave

You shall say you will return

You shall leave and seek no return for you are not capable of this

You merely cannot bear all the damage

You shall find yourself responsible for mending

Though the heart is not attempting to be mended

Only bandaged with care

Thy heart is only in search of someone who can show care and cuddles

Yet nobody is willing to listen to thy heart’s needs.

Thy soul has been separated from thy heart for protection yet it finds a way to fall

Thy soul has fallen completely on its own, it sought no help from the bearing pain of thy heart

Thy soul has fallen close to the edge of the end.

“this can’t be the end” thy heart holds more pain than any yet it continues to carry on

Thy heart has seen no end to the cracks and breaks and picking pieces of itself away.

Though they heart has been shattered and broken it continues on.

Fore thy heart also will speak to you of the laughter

The dancing,

The lights,

The feelings,

The love,

The sparkles in thy eyes of uncertainty,

The touch,

The hugs

Thy heart knows no certain of a fairytale ending yet remains hopeful

Thy heart carries on.
