Tick!

Tick!

The sound of my mind as the gears start to turn,

But no one can hear it but myself.

Tick!

Each gear turning at its own pace,

A different function each one has.

Tick!

Gears that make me feel, behave, and think,

Gears that control how I live life.

Tick!

Do my gears create a sound similar to another?

Do they match that of someone special?

Tick!

The sound of my brain thinking, planning, creating ideas,

The sound of all the silly , the sane, and strange that is me.

Tick!

Time to take a deep breath, and open my eyes.

Now the day begins.
