Tick Tock!

Time was designed by a madman,
Who tinkers his torture with care;
For in a stroke of a clock and a ‘Tick-Tock!’
We are trapped in a snare!

And like a trance,
We prance and play
But pray the day
Of doom isn’t here;

But with time,
We’re lined with a sign
So kind to remind
'The end draws near!'

Time was designed by a madman,
Who moves us mortals in fear;
So if you are wrought with a tick of a clock,
Then live your life with great care!
