Tick Tock

Overthinking things Makes me want to scream That's all I have Thoughts I can't put into words Certain lines In my life Are blurred My best intentions Never heard I feel like a mime A prisoner to my own mind Day after day And night after night This endless fight Makes me want to die But I'll continue to try Perhaps only out of spite Only to make light Of this dark life of mine Maybe the problem Is that I have too much time On my hands Caught red handed But this was never my plan I have been convicted The crime I'm a killer of time Even worse than death row Is the life sentence Times nine And with God as my witness It's too late for repentance Time was of the essence I never meant for this
