Tick Tock Goes the Clock
I am waiting
Waiting
For this life to begin
Or perhaps for it to end?
Tick tock goes the clock
But nothing ever changes
Waiting in a room
Dark as pitch
No windows to show the passage of time
Time is nothing here
Now is eternal
No light
No hope
When will this end?
I have no need of sleep
Just stare into the
Unyielding darkness
I will not be rescued
Nor will I escape
This is my prison
Contemplate my life
There is nothing left
And so I sit
And tick tock goes the clock
