Ticking Clock

There is a grandfather clock in our room, with hands as swift as a broom. It stands in the same spot all day, and never has anything to say. Our life is a clock ticking down till the end of each day, hoping we make it to our next birthday. This machine is a part of our life, and still continues on in the nightlife.
