Tides of War

You have taken many people from me,

Friend, Foe, Brother, Sister, Ally, Enemy,

Yet wherever we go, you follow, battlefield and home is one in the same to you

You were supposed to be only present in the moment not my life.

Your thirst is unquenched not matter the drops of blood

By the drop or by the liter, it does not matter to you.

Feared, respected, honored, embraced you recieve by the second

Without resistance or struggle either way you are the victor

It will always be a mystery until that moment.
