'Till we meet again..

Death.

As a young girl I was just beginning to understand...

Until, one night it became surreal as my grandma took her last breath.

The call took my dad to his knees like a command.

Tears flowed down my cheek and my face was hot.

You have always been an angel, Grandma.

Around the family I have known all my life in the church parking lot...

I held it in to show I was strong, I swollowed my tears 'till it hurt my  jaw.

Missing my graduations and my wedding is going to be hard.

If i could just cook in the kitchen with you one more time...

The emotional wound was cut open once again like with a glass shard...

.. when we lost you too it was hard on my mom like she had just seen a crime.

After losing both my grandmas, I had to grow up to be there for my mom and dad.

In the end, I matured after the experiences and I chose to be there for my family instead of being upset and mad.
