Time

It's times like these when I want to run and never look back.

It's times like these I want to forget what we had.
Nothing will be the same
My heart grows a little heavier
a little darker a little harder to carry on day by day.
I think about the past
but then realize true love doesn't always last.
I think about the feelings we once shared.
And about how much I really did care,
I wish I could forget
And put it all behind,
But as of now you're always on my mind.
When you come back
And realize you did wrong,
I won't say a word cause ill be gone.
Although Youll find a way in my life
The Scars you left behind are still deep.
You say sorry but it don't mean a thing
It's like climbing up a mountain too steep
My bar is set too high thanks to you,
Because you left me lost even on my brightest days.
But it's ok
I have no choice but to look the other way
