Time

Time slows when you stare at a clock

Like time is shy

Time is scared

But when you look away and let go

It’s as if time was never there

Maybe the reason everything

Is passing me by

Is because I forgot to look at the clock

But time is shy

Time is scared

Why would I want to look

At something that is

Just as scared as I am
