Time

More valuable than money

And so often wasted

We spend our days searching

Ways it can be crated

The young abuse it

They’ve learned to misuse it

The elderly endured it

And try to reverse it

It’s life’s fatal flaw

And something we need

It possesses no claw

But is frightening indeed

So run fast if you want

But there’s really no point

As much as in may taunt

You cannot flee

It’s no matter if you can turn on a dime

The only thing we can’t run from is time.
