Time

Time is ever changing, moving faster and faster every second to reiterate and distinguish the future from the present

It can’t be bent, nor lent, or even persuasively sent

And thus by naïve human ideals we platform an untouchable constant that is reconciled as a disclaimer to all as we fault at the acclamation of the word fate

But by time we realize what has slipped away it is found already to be far too late

Patience is a virtue that brings light to what by appearance cannot be determined but as does the direct confrontation of what could be forgotten

As the cries through the tolerance of lost time are unheard of through the potent din

There is a place for action to be taken rather than time being wasted

And a place for time to pay its dues so that nothing is misstated

Yet both inexplicably underlie the reflectively identical morality

Hoping that neither will relay a subsiding reality

The future is not something that is neither out of human grasp nor is your own defined by predetermined destiny

Unless you let circumstance control you as if it’s some unmatchable tyranny

You must take hold of every second for as quickly as it appears it falls into the past just as inconspicuously

Don’t let what has always been right in front of you disappear just because you don’t accept the possibility of the visible opportunity
