time
The sky bruised with pinks and purples
A throbbing wound slowly chugging through the last beats of the day
The water below was like pearls had melted into fluids,
A liquid pure metallic shine
light casting over the waves like fallen fabric
The world paused before it exhaled again and kept moving
I wish I could stay here—
Stuck between two beats of time
