time

laying in bed i stare at the ceiling i should have paid attention to that weird feeling i turn to the window looking out the lightning flashed that made me shout the sky goes dark in my head i could hear you bark i start to cry and i hear your sigh it’s like you didn’t even care and yet i just stood there watching you drive away that last day in may i felt my heart break i put everything at stake i gave you my all all you did was watch me fall i hear the patter of the rain i feel nothing but pain the thunder booming loud yet it seems like i can’t hear a sound
