Time

I am the beginning I am the end I am everything you see, yet nothing at all The young boy sits in class, wishing for the time to fly Failing to realize the minutes of life he wishes away Are those someone somewhere else wishes to find In the end, we are nothing A body in the ground, simple rotten flesh Once so proudly separate, Now a piece that forms a whole We forget during life what it means to take a breath For we are too concerned of those we shall take in the future And that future never come, for when it does, our minds have moved on We are chained to the clock, ever-present, ever-moving Time is valued higher than all, For who would not rid of wealth for future days? We, now knowing this ever-persent truth Must find the way to break such a hold For when we do this, there are no limits
