Time
Sitting; perched upon one of thousands of rocks, staring off into the misty waters
I watch.
I wait.
But deep down, to my very core,
I am reminded that I need time.
For life should not be deemed the boisterous rush that it is.
So, with my mind hindered, and my heart fulfilled,
I watch as each hardship recedes past the frigid shoreline.
Hours go by and I remain.
And there is this constant contemplation to return to certain disdain
But as the sun peeks through the once grey clouds
It brings a divine luminescence
In which I am soon reminded that convalescence is not simply sought.
Like the once darkened sky, it comes with the essence of life;
Time.
