Time

If there is a beginning there is an end

60 seconds 60 minutes 24 hours 365 days

Tick tock the clock is counting only one way

For long turns to short and 17 turns to now

The earth, either thousands or billions of years old

Has seen generations pass by like flies

And we only live for a fraction

Not knowing how long we will survive

What have I done in my years?

Who have I wronged in my years?

Mothers, brothers, fathers, daughters?

For every second I step closer to my casket

And others are entering theirs

But am I scared?

No, for I know who I am
