time;

everything comes to an end

and yet

all time spent with you

i wish would last for an eternity.

everything comes to an end

life, love, and time itself

i am terrified

of running out of time

of breath

of love.

i shake with fear

as i hold you tight

and leave kisses on your brow

i am scared.

i am scared of losing you

of losing all the

joy

to which you give to me

of all the

hope.

the life that you have given me

breathed onto my open lips

i am saved

and yet you could kill me.

for without you

i am lost

falling

stumbling

and

dying.

everything comes to an end

and yet

i so desperately need

us to last forever, together.
