Time

Sometimes my life gets in the way

Sometimes I think things I shouldn't say

My minds something no ones been inside

And time's the one thing never on my side

Friends come and go, beside then gone

Always there, not long

I don't belong

With people here

I'm filled with fear

I'm black and gray

They shine neon

Sometimes I hate my different brain

Sometimes it's thoughts drive me insane

There's not a soul in whom I confide

And time's the one thing never on my side

The hands of time will not turn back

But your hands can make white of black

My heart lies in both pairs of hands

My ink tries to save as it begins to crack

My words as tape

My pen as glue

But me heart still hurts

The cracks crack through

Sometimes my heart hurts, I go through pain

Sometimes for reasons I can't explain

I'm pretty sure I've already died

If there's no more time, there's no more life
