Time

Grey, masked with the stains of time.

How has time stained you?

Time will never stop, never cease, never end

Did time ever really begin for you?

The road, often used to direct the flow of people traveling,

But really it shows how time can take its toll

With every crack, split, bump and hole throughout it.

Time runs free

But

Time is never really free because

There is always a price you pay and a debt that is

kept.

C’est la vie, that is life. But is life really life

If time dictates how

and when you must do everything?

The clock eats up every minute and goes back for seconds.

Is it not free, are you not free to ignore time?

Her smile, remains seen by all after all this time,

After every day, year, decades, and centuries that have

Just rolled by, because our time is just a blip in

The great scheme of things

See! “These things will take time” but who determines

When you are done waiting on time?

Overtime you may build up money and

In a second, a moment of emacity you could

Lose it all. Hubris.

But time is alright if I can remember why I try to last

I have wasted time and now doth time waste me.

Black, masked with the stains of time

Empty.

The sky stretches on forever, never ending.

She is thinking about the infinite

Ticking is the sound of your life

The clock is ever hungry.
