Time

On some days I hope the memories

of us burns like a fire for you

On some days I hope you could

feel the fire underneath your skin

burn through for everything you

said you would do and

everything you couldn’t do

And on some days I hope the

sounds of brokenness plays

repetitively through your mind

I was the vinyl and you were the

turntable and together we were

nothing but a broken record

running on broken clocks and time
