Time

Feelings overwhelm my body

I don’t know why

The reasons aren't exact

But as more and more days pass

These feelings grow and grow

They make me feel tired, drained and sapped

Sometimes it's sad, confused and down

The reasons aren’t exact

But as more and more hours pass

These feelings grow and grow

If I think about it

Real long and hard

I end up thinking things

I never really thought

And as more and more minutes pass

These feelings grow and grow

If I close my eyes

I can hear the silence

And that's when these feelings

Come up again

I feel exhausted, fatigued and spent

I try my best every day

To make those I love proud

But as more and more seconds pass

These feelings grow and grow

Although I do everything I can

It's not enough,

the reasons aren’t exact

And these feelings overwhelm my body.
