Time

they tell me i'm just a little girl,

that i'll never measure up so highly,

that I can't reach the stars and leap over the moon,

but oneday i'll show them soon.

everything is always taken even things that are mine,

sometimes I just want to freeze time,

and I don't care if  that may seem like a crime,

It feels like I am on an endless journey where I will always have to climb.

oh,time I need more time,

who am I,

It feels like i'm covered in slime,

Can I touch the sky?

Iḿ M, I like reading, writing, cooking, acting, and helping others. Good luck to other poets out there, and never give up on your dreams. No matter how hard it seems.
