Time

Crushing

Second by second

Neverending

Forever spanding

On and on it goes

And there is nothing to be done

But sit back and hold on

People come

People go

Yet it is all painfully slow

Until it speeds into a mere blur

Nothing to do about it

Everything to do with me

Why?

Who knows

That seems to be just

No matter how unfair

Then it will stop

And be over

Just when we though it had begun

And there is nothing to be done

But hold onto to half-formed memories

And a desire to just be

And you will make it

To where?

I don't know

But we'll find out whether or not

We truly wish to know.
