time

time is going by

i don't think they understand when i say

that i didn't expect to be here

yesterday, today, tomorrow

every holiday i thought i would miss

the idea pushes me down overwhelmingly

sinks into my lungs

suffocating me

i don't know what else to tell them except for "wow"

because time is going by

i'm alive

but i don't believe that this

is living.
