Time

I'm a victim of time It consumes me Puts limits in my life Stops me from jumping the gun and makes me think twice Pushing the speed limit cause I'm ready to go get it Put the past behind I'm stuck in the present, with the future in my mind cause of time It asks me, "Who's your daddy?" It slaps me in the face when it sees me slacking I get up and keep moving cause when you sit still, it's time that you're losing Do what you need to do to get what you want out of life When things get hard, keep running the race Overcome the obstacles that get in your way When you choose to give up, time is still ticking, The Earth will keep spinning, and you never know when it'll be your last day
