Time

I was promised all the time in the world

Oh, but what a joke it was

For time can only be stop by one,

He holds the timer for our lives,

His thumb is on the clicker

And before it's begun, i'ts already done,

No second chance, No lingers

Even then, No less a second,

You won't know what hit you

Promising no time is due,

Sweet pleasants he'll whisper,

Luring you in with false truths

Until you're ensnared in his trap,

And when he's done, Only then will you notice that your time has run flat...
