In Time...

In time, we will become nothing but a mere memory

These changing seasons, changing faces of yesterday

Bring more heartache for us

Tears of broken paths make their way

To us

Say you’ll remember me

In these last days

Say you’ll always be

Mine

Passing through like winds of a raging storm

We clashed and burnt

But say you’ll find me

And keep me safe and warm

Like hearts of stone

We sank after each painful encounter

But don’t forsake me now

And leave me unloved in flesh and bone

Say you’ll remember me

In these last days

Say you’ll always be

Mine
