Time and Pain

Time doesn't heal any wounds at all,

Instead it puts a thin veil over to hide it before you fall

But you will

And you'll cry still.

You'll bleed your heart out,

You'll want to shout

and scream

and plead

For that person back into your life

Because without them everything is strife.

You'll always have this human-sized hole in your heart,

And you'll try to start

Again like a broken car,

Or a burned out star,

Now they're just a dream

Or at least that's what it seems.

Don't turn to the knife

Or blade for it will only create more strife.

Instead turn to people you trust

For that's a must.

Breathe in and out and in some more.

Shut that fucking terrible door

That hides your happiness and soul

Make yourself whole

For no one else will.
