Time in a Bottle
When I was a child, time did not matter.
"Time with God mattered most," my Dad would say
But to me it was all just some chatter
Until I learned to number every day
Time flies by so fast when you're busy
Plus choosing colleges can make you feel old
Making time for everything can be so fuzzy
So I chose to let go being young and bold.
Soon as I toss the cap, I'll go and nap
Then when I'm in college I'll try to develop insomnia
When I'm thirty, I'll travel with just one map
Then be a Pharmacist in Columbia.
Time is moments spent with God, friends, and family
Spend every moment making quality.
