Broken records croon soft lullubies

-Songs only for two.

Although, only one remains,

Tattered, worn,

Gathering stardust and ashes

Unable

To stop them from flowing through her cold fingers

Like the sands of an hourglass.

There it exists, a forgotten reality,

Suspended from cobwebs and fading lights

Matching the rise and fall of a melody that

Stops

And starts again.
