The Time Of The Day For Me

The Time Of The Day For Me......

The loveliest time of the day,

For me,

Is to be when I set aside

Ample time

To worship,

Pray,

And praise my Lord!

The earliest time of the day,

For me,

Is the time I just sit,

Reflecting on;

All the help

That I’ve been given ,

Not dwelling on;

Past glories,

Or mistakes I’ve made.

My time of the day,

For me,

Is when I in sincerely seek,

Redemption and forgiveness,

For the sinner that I am.

Then acknowledging him so,

For all the gifts received,

In my capacity to be capable of

Of doing my Master’s work,

Oh! Thank you, God,!

The time of the day I need the most,

The time I set aside

For my personal devotions,

In thanking him;

For all abundant blessings poured,

That has come my way.

The quality time of the day

For me,

Which I set aside for self,

The time of peace and quiet,

Just after I retire to bed

And before I go to sleep.
