"Time flies by, when you have a gun"
"There's no hell harsher than a memory"
I hope the last thing he remembered wasn't me
Imagined the back of his head, blood red
as he stared down the barrel of gun, dead
Spent most of his childhood pretending to fly
says that he's a dreamer
but I'm too deaf to actually hear his screams
he wears empathy like a glove,
pretending his ego and insecurities are in love
he feels like he is dying
its strange how he can make "the milky way look tiny"
and I'm sorry, I'm the only one who holds your legacy
but my hell is still your memory
its terrifying how agony connects me to the living
I'll see where it takes me, and pretend I saw it coming.
I guess they said he always knew
but its fucked up, maybe a warning would suffice
and the many notes doesn't count as a goodbye
a picture is worth a thousand word
but your word will always be mine
