As Time Goes By

7 years

thats's what they say

i'll be new again in 7 years

you'll be but a memory

6 years

till your gone

until you've never touched me

until you're not buta memory

5 years

when will this end

god! just make it end

4 years

i still remember

i still feel your hands on my skin

i still feel the sting of your words

2 years

i'll never be the same

i can never go back

bruises fade

but scars are for forever

1 year

i should be better

you shouldn't haunt me the way you do

0 years

times up

it's been 7 years

7 years since you hurt me

since you hit me

my body has healed

no trace of you is left on it

but i still remember
