"Time Goes On"

if you knew me then, well you don't know me now. The road I travel on I thought I traveled alone, but my Lord God was with me all along. If you think you had something to do with my life, my achievements, my success, and my talents, well, your're wrong-because it's my Lord God that blessed me. If you think you had something to do with my life, my achievements, my success, and my talents, well you're wrong-because it is my Lord God that blessed me. If you think you can be the one to point fingers and judge me, your're wrong; only God can judge me. You can bring me down, but God will bring me up. Season's change, people change; well, I changed for the better as time went on. You're  the season for the bad storm that was in my life. As time goes on, your memory only fades away. Just like the season fall when the leaves fall, they fade away, and gone  with the wind. As times goes on, I have this inner strength that God gives me. As that saying goes, life goes on and my life has. The road I travel, I thought I traveled alone, but all along, my Lord God was with me. If you think you can be the one to point fingers and judge me, you're wrong, because only God can judge me. You can bring me down but God will bring me up. Seasons change, people change; well, I changed for the better without you, and time goes on.
