The Time Has Come

(poems go here) College. An Idea Formed since Our birth. Saving money From baptism, first birthdays. Parents telling us to do our best Since kindergarten. Already stressing about The future. Pressure on us from the first day of school. Will we bring home A’s? We become slightly aware of the pressure in middle school. Struggling to deal with Pressure from peers and school. Parents anxiously Biting their nails. High school is almost here. Freshman year. Four years left. Continuous stress on us. Always. Applications and scholarships Day after day, turning into an everyday action. When will the pressure cease? PSATS and SATS practices and tests. Parents counting down the time. Senior year. Applications sent, one sigh let out. There are but a few months where nothing Can be done. Letters come in and The stress is over. The time has come.
