Time Heals No Wounds

Yes we have our victories

But after the smiles fade all the memories of our pain seem to reappear

I cant be victorious for very long because almost moments late rone of us dies or is abused

Its like numbing a deep knife wound

Never really fixing what was broken and never retrived

Theres never a moment when I have forgotten

Theres moments when I ignore the memories becasue its exhausting being so sad and upset

But its validated it truly is but they wont let us they say time has been given so that we may move on

Ill move on when the pavement beneath my feet are no longer burgundy with our blood, or when fear isnt inflicted solely because they can, or when our womens tears dont flood the ocean

Ill move on when the trees lose the marks of ropes from their branches

Whent the dirt is no longer mixed with ashes of a thousands of young boys

Ill move on when I can feel as safe and comfortable to heinous as you do
