Time Machine

At some point in time, we all have wished For our mistakes and wrongdoings to be vanished. And people might tell us it’ll be alright. Go on, now, move on with your life. And you smile and nod and pretend it’s okay When all you really want is to get through the day. You wish you had really thought about it more Before what you did caused you such heartsore. If only you could take back what you spoke And all the misgivings you did evoke. But what if we had another chance? To go back into the great expanse Of Time. If only I had a time machine That gave me an opportunity to redeem. If I had the ability to travel through time I would use it for good, and not for crime. If I could, I would change all of my mistakes- All the things that gave me heart and headaches. I would change all of the things that I did All the words spoken and all the words said. I would travel through time, I would travel through space And all of my misdoings I would gladly erase. If only we had another chance To go back into the great expanse Of Time. I would travel through light years. I would travel through tears. And after I had erased all of my smears I would crash through centuries to land back here. I would learn from all of my mistakes But the pain from them I would not have to face. Time travel would make me true and wise And I could see through any disguise. Indeed, time travel would be useful for all Oversights and errors, big or small. You could relive all of your memories, the ones not forgotten For good and sweet times are not disposed of or boughten. Yes, if only I had the power to time travel All of my misconceptions I would unravel. If I could, I would change all of my delusions All the things that hurt me, and of my illusions. Yes, if only I had another chance To go back into the great expanse Of Time.
