Time is my Enemy

Time is my enemy,

clawing at my brain,

filling my world with hopelessness,

filling it with fear,

with each second the disease grows,

locking me out of the comfort and rain,

time is my enemy,

like a burning summer sun,

rendering me useless,

watching me as I writhe in pain,

of anxiety scorch,

as I continue I feel it getting worse,

each incident allows it to sink in deeper,

Time is my enemy.
