Time for the Show

Close your eyes Breathe in and out Stop your lies And relinquish your doubts No one is around You can wipe off that smile You can wear that frown You can rest for a while There is no one you need to impress No one to be accepted by You no longer have to say yes Alone you can cry Lay down and rest You can stop your pretending Your strive to be the best And your constant defending You can be the real you Away from a world so mean Away from the world's harsh view Where everything you do is seen But it is time to rise It is time for the show To put on your disguise And be the person we all know.
