Time Speaks

Ever-changing

Life seems to be

Embrace it not

Or sing with glee

To move on to the next chapter

Can mean a brighter day

Or it can prove

The life you choose

May seem to fly away

And when that bird

Is finally free

Only then, the meaning speaks

For a wise man once wrote

Atop the sky

In fields of dreams and butterflies

That humans shall have the voice

That can carve mountains into shrines

I pray that fate

Can take my feet

Or drag me by the collar

When the raven crows

And, so it goes

The dove is ever squandered
