"Time to spread my wings and fly"
It is time for me to spread my wings and fly far from this strange place I call Reno, I would be lying if I said I was comfortable calling the biggest little city in the world home. I wish that I took advantage of all the opportunities I could have amended myself in school to travel even further from here, but long story short I didn’t, and that is why I am in the position I’m in today. I have been stabbed in the back in more ways than just one by everyone I felt close, I think that is what hurt me the most, but it makes me who I am today. I don’t feel the need nor do those back stabbers deserve my respect, dignity, or even a thank you.
But what I do find funny is that even though I no longer feel the need for unnecessary drama, bickering, or fights with people who are not worth the time of day because of where I’m at in my life, I secretly want to thank them not having any friends has made me focus more on things I want in life and how I am going to get there.
I still don’t understand some people’s logic or how they think. Most of the things other people, mainly girls or ex-boyfriends have no problem doing to me I would feel extremely bad about, but that’s their deal.
I’m going to work my ass off to get to where I want to be in life I don’t care about other people or their problems, I’m no longer looking to make friends I’m sure they will come along but I’m going to surround myself with people who have goals and dreams. Who are hard workers, actually want to make something of them, but other than if it means I’m going to become more self-absorbed so be it. I’m in need of an adventure it’s time for me to spread my wings and fly, far from this strange place I call Reno.
