Time To Start Over

Some days I'm trapped,

Inside of my head,

Wishing to scream out,

All the words left unsaid.

Because I said so many to you,

And now we hardly talk at all.

Those feelings that quickly grew,

Only created a higher fall.

So now I'm falling,

Not in love, but apart,

And I'm just not sure where,

That I've left my broken heart.

I can't tell whats wrong now,

Or how to fix myself.

All I can hope is, somehow,

I can leave it on a shelf.

Leave my heart away,

And out of sight,

So that I'll stop getting hurt,

Until I find the one who's right.

So as spring begins,

Bringing new life all around,

I hope to find joy,

In the most beautiful sound.

The sound of silence and peace,

As the stress and anger stop,

Leaving only wonderful moments,

And no fragile heart to drop.
