From Time to Time

From the times I felt alone,

To the day I first found love.

The bass always syncs

To kick like my heart beat.

The vocals match the right emotions,

As the melody leads my motion.

From the days I lived through stress,

To the day I met happiness.

It seems that for me to live,

Music is all I need.

Because even when I wasn’t on my feet,

I always felt the fervid heat.

But once I pressed play

And I listened to Stay,

Roses, and Middle.

Every burn got little.

Because when I was left alone,

I would listen to Don’t Let Me Down.

Because unlike anyone ever before,

Music always understood.

Because when I was mad yet didn’t want to fight,

I would listen to K.Dot’s B***h Don’t Kill My Vibe.

Because no matter when I’m tuning in,

Music is always here.

Because it seems that for me to live,

Music is all I need.
