Timeless

James 5:3 New English Translation (NET Bible)

3 Your gold and silver have rusted and their rust will be a witness against you.

It will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have hoarded treasure!

Timeless

An investment of idolized time

How to truly seem the value of such?

It is far from quoting a nursery rhyme

For that really keeps you out of touch

With Who am I and where I’m at?

Who directs and guides my vision?

It seems that it could be reasonless

Or prepared with great precision

Wherever purpose seems perceived

And slowly driven towards some action

Is that where will and calling meet

And are drawn towards satisfaction?

Contradiction reasons deep within

At certain times burst to the surface

It surely will come to a boiling point

and oft keep us from a greater purpose

It seems to me that will and deed

Have seldom much in common

It proves that instinct far too often

Hollers loudly its will to summon

To be reactive seems built inside

And gives an opportunity to hang on

Instead of standing strong and firm

As our lives just moan, so misinformed
