TImeless Stone

Timeless Stone

            An ageless face

            Carved under sunlight,

            Ripened by moonlight.

            A tasteless taste

            Grown from decades,

            Of spaces grace.

            Bent and mended to perfection

Being pointed in a new direction.

New and blue under the night

            Given the gift of flight.

So fly far into the sun,

Where only words can be hung

While you’ve waited oh so long

To become one with the light.

            Standing by singing your song

While time flew by, taking the light.

            Over the many moons

            You’ve dreamed to be,

            A cloud of gold

            Named timeless stone.
