Timeless Wisdom

My father is like the textbooks in class Bestowing his wisdom upon me His feelings reflecting clearly like glass Rising like the trunk of the redwood tree They provide you knowledge of the unknown Books are there to provide a sense of comfort You can read them even when you are grown When the lights go out, they are like a fort But sometimes construed of fallacies Often constructing the path for you ahead They are there to provide analysis You must be independent when you tread My father’s wisdom is reflected like pages Everlasting and never fading, in stages
