Timelines

It’s okay
that life will end
in a great unknown
with no escape.

It’s okay
that our relationship is fleeting
because even though love
lasts forever
it doesn’t always
end together.

It’s okay
that the future isn’t known
and that the only certainty
is that everything ends

for every ending
though unknown
means the beginning
of something new.

So remember that
no matter what timeline
is approaching its end,
it’s okay.
